Fatherless Child

So I was told
We lived in a nice house on a sandy road
I don't remember living with my Father
When I would call he said not to bother
He say's he has a family of his own now
I'm not a part of it I don't see how
Sometimes I get sad
When I think of my Dad
He's growing older and I am sad to say
He can't have my shoulder
When he is gone I will not be there
It's simply because he didn't care
